The Coming Revival

Sunday Message: The Coming Revival

On Sunday, 30 May 2025, the atmosphere at the service was charged with a profound message of revival. The word that came forth declared that South Africa is on the brink of a spiritual awakening, a revival that will be characterized by the fire of God’s presence engulfing the nation. Men and women will rise, anointed as preachers and pastors, and every town and city will experience this divine fire. Healing will become a norm in these services, as we step into the move of the Spirit of God.

Faith and Hearing the Voice of God

One of the central messages from Sunday was a deeper understanding of faith. Often, we think that faith simply comes from reading scriptures. However, the message challenged this notion by emphasizing that true faith comes from hearing the voice of God. It is not just about knowing the written Word; it is about encountering the living Word. The scriptures become alive and transformative when we hear God speak to us personally. Just as God set the universe in motion by speaking, our lives are transformed when we hear and respond to His voice.

The message also posed a thought-provoking question: If the Bible says, “by His stripes we are healed,” why are some not healed? The answer lies in our ability to hear the “Rhema”—the spoken, living word of God. Without that personal revelation, the written word remains just text. Faith is birthed when the written word becomes a spoken reality in our lives.

Encountering God Transforms Lives

Throughout the Bible, we see how a divine encounter changes lives. Moses was just a shepherd until he met God at the burning bush. Peter was a simple fisherman until Jesus called him. Paul was a persecutor of Christians until he encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus. Isaiah, too, was transformed when he saw the Lord in the temple. These encounters were pivotal, not because of the individuals’ qualifications, but because they met God face-to-face.

The message reminded us that our greatest days lie ahead because God still meets people today. It is not about who we are but who we become when we encounter Him. The challenge is to seek that personal encounter and be transformed from the inside out.

Prayer Alters and Corporate Fellowship

In the current world, where sin seems more prevalent and accessible than ever before, having a prayer altar is essential. A prayer altar is not just a place of personal devotion but a meeting point between the physical and spiritual realms. Building and maintaining such an altar takes discipline, consistency, and a desire to encounter God. The message stressed that no believer can survive spiritually without this practice.

However, having a personal prayer altar alone is not enough. We must also be connected to a corporate altar—fellowship with other believers. There is power in unity, and the presence of God is magnified when believers come together in prayer. We are encouraged not to forsake the gathering of the saints because the collective faith and prayers strengthen each member of the body.

Break Free to Fulfill Your Calling

The story of Abraham’s call from God highlighted a crucial principle—deliverance precedes destiny. God instructed Abraham to leave his country, family, and father’s house. This was not just a geographical move but a spiritual separation from past influences and generational patterns.

The message also clarified that Lot benefited from Abraham’s presence, not the other way around. This is a reminder that our associations can impact us profoundly. While some relationships bring blessings by association, others may hinder our spiritual growth. Abraham’s obedience to God positioned him to be a blessing, and those around him, like Lot, reaped the benefits of his faith.

A Call to Prayer

The overarching theme of the message was prayer. It is time to rise and build altars of prayer. Abraham’s first act upon entering the promised land was to build an altar—establishing a connection with God. Prayer is where our perspectives shift, allowing us to see life from God’s vantage point, where only glory is visible.

The message called believers to reignite their prayer lives and build consistent altars, both personally and corporately. Revival is here, and it will come through prayer, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of God’s presence. Let us respond to this call and position ourselves for the coming move of God.

The revival is here. Are you ready to catch the fire?
