The Urgency of the Last Days: A Call to True Worship and Repentance

As we enter into a season of fasting for the upcoming women’s conference, it is imperative that we not only abstain from food but also align our spirits with God’s will. Fasting is more than just a religious practice; it is a divine invitation to draw closer to the Lord, to hear His voice more clearly, and to walk in obedience.

The days we are living in are not ordinary. There is something significant about the gatherings of believers in these last days. The spiritual battle has intensified, and God is calling His children to wake up and take their place. Now more than ever, we must seek the manifest presence of God in our churches. The first and most crucial thing that should draw us to a place of worship is not the eloquence of the preacher, the beauty of the choir, or the grandeur of the building, but the undeniable presence of God. Without His presence, everything else is meaningless.

Do Not Forsake the Gathering of the Saints

Scripture warns us in Hebrews 10:25: “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” The enemy is actively working to isolate believers, to cause discouragement, and to sow deception. But as we see the signs of the times manifesting before our eyes, we must gather with other believers more than ever. Corporate worship, prayer, and fasting fortify us for the battles ahead.

Many of us take for granted that we are alive today. But let this truth sink in: there are people who died in their sin yesterday, and they will forever burn in hell. Their fate is sealed. But you who are reading this still have a chance. The most significant purpose of the time we have been given is repentance. Everything in this world is temporary—wealth, success, fame, and relationships—but eternity is forever. What are you doing with the time you have left?

Hearing the Voice of God in These Last Days

The Holy Spirit has been speaking to many of us, convicting us in those moments when we are about to make the wrong choice. That small voice that tells you “don’t do this” or “turn away” is Jesus. The devil will never tell you to stop sinning. If you feel conviction, do not harden your heart. In these last days, we must hold onto the voice of the Lord and obey. Those who ignore His voice will soon find themselves drowning in deception.

Trusting God When There Is No Other Way

We are entering a season where our backs will be against the Egyptians, and in front of us will be the Red Sea. There will be no human solution. The only hope will be complete trust in God. No amount of intelligence, resources, or connections will be enough to sustain us. Only total reliance on the Lord will carry us through. This is the season of divine separation.

No More Middle Ground: Choose This Day Whom You Will Serve

Gone are the days of playing church. The time of being lukewarm is over. Jesus made it clear in Revelation 3:16: “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” There is no longer room for compromise. You are either for Christ or against Him. The illusion of middle ground has been shattered. If you are still living a life of partial obedience, now is the time to surrender fully to the Lord.

The Tyranny of the Familiar

Many people today love the concept of church but deny its power. They enjoy going to services, participating in events, and even quoting scripture, yet they refuse to let the Holy Spirit transform them. They love the culture of church but reject the discipline of righteousness. This is what Paul Keith calls the “tyranny of the familiar.” People crave messages that tickle their ears rather than the truth that convicts the soul. But the gospel is not about comfort—it is about transformation.

Final Warning

This is not a time to take things lightly. The return of Christ is imminent, and the enemy is working overtime to deceive even the elect. Do not be among those who will hear, “Depart from me, I never knew you” (Matthew 7:23). Instead, repent while there is still time. Seek God with all your heart. Live holy. Trust in Him completely. The season of deception is here, but those who remain faithful to Christ will overcome.

As we fast and pray, let us do so with a sense of urgency. May we be found ready when the trumpet sounds. The days are short. The time is now. Choose Jesus today.
